On 26 January 2011, Andrea and Kath travelled more than 15,500 kilometers to get to Karlsruhe, Germany, all the way from Adelaide, Australia.  Others flew in from Japan, Norway, Italy, Romania and Poland. Their common destination was the 14th International Partner Meeting for persolog distributors.

One key theme that ran throughout the entire conference was the need for sharing experiences.  As host, persolog headquarter reviewed the events of the past year and updated participants on current progress in the areas of Marketing and International. Linked to this were also discussions on success factors for trade fair appearances. In Product Development, the new “Learning and Teaching” module was introduced.

Conference highlights included, in particular, the case studies by the different countries. Austria, for example, presented a case study on successful online sales, while Australia gave one on its seminar offering and Denmark one on its major project with the Copenhagen transit authorities. Each country, moreover, explained its focal points of the past year, with discussions held on market potential and different country niches. The conference ended with a half-day sales workshop, after which all participants returned to their home countries.

Three intensive conference days can be summed up as follows: The participants may have come from many different corners of the world, but one thing definitely united them all - their interest in people.
